Yangshuo, i stayed their for 3 weeks, from that 2 weeks that i told my self that tommorow im going to leave but i just couldn't.
I came to yangshuo for two main reasons. rock climbing and teaching english.
First of all the rock climbers it is a paradise for rock climbing with hundreds of routs in all difficulties, detailed maps of the locations, places with shade, places you can climb even when it rains and just more and more places.
One IMPORTANT thing, we rented gear from a shop called X Climber. Don't go there, in one of our climbs one of the carbiner just broke and my friend fell from the height of 10 meters, now those things are supposed to carry tons, they aren't supposed to brake from a fall, the thing is that not all the places check the gear they rent and it's very dangerous. So if you can bring your own gear and if not, check the gear you rent and ask the rent shop what are their standards,
The other main thing i did there was teaching english. Monday till Thursday, from 18:00-20:00 i sat with a bunch of students and talked, just talked on anything in the world. the thing is to practice with the students their talking skills and for that you get free acomodation, cheap food, free beer during the daily english corner and an amazing experience. i did that in a school called Joi Ye but there are a lot of english schools there and they are thirsty for foreign teachers, you need to know good english, you don't need to be a native speaker.
After i finish writing ths i need to return mail to my new friends fro yangshuo, the teaching experiance was so strong it left an impact on both sides.
I'll definitely come back to Yangshuo some day, the place is amazing and the people are even more.
